The amount of skin care products on the shelves and countless good advice can too many seem overwhelming and a bit confusing. We can easily understand, and when you first know your skin type, it is much easier to find the right products for your particular needs. A good tip is to wash your face in lukewarm water with a mild clean. After a few hours you can then assess whether your skin feels dry or combined / greasy. From then you can choose your cleaning product and moisture care. However, be aware that your skin type can change during the year, eg. Wipe in winter for more combined in summer. Therefore, it is a good idea to notice how your skin respond to seasonal changes.

Dry skin

Dry skin can feel sensitive and "tight" after clean. You can experience itching and scaly skin, and if you use make-up, you may find that the "clumps together" on the surface of the skin. Many will find that the skin can feel dry during the transition season. A good advice for this is to go for products like moisturizes, soften and nourishes the skin.

We recommend that you clean your skin with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Oil, and then give a moisture boost with Ivy Aïa Face Mist. Then exit with Ivy Aïa Face Cream Dry Skin and Ivy Aïa Eye Cream.

Sensitive skin

Sensitive skin can be red, dry and with tendency to itch and scalles. The skin feels irritated, painful and with redness, as by an allergic reaction. Here it is a good idea to go for products that calm and moisturize the skin, so it is also well-employed.

We recommend that you clean your skin with Ivy Aïa Cleansing Oil and then give a moisture boost with Ivy Aïa Face Mist. Exit your routine with inflicting Ivy Aïa Face Cream Provitamin B5 and Ivy Aïa Eye Cream.

Normal / combined skin

If you have a normal combined skin type, you may experience, during the day, rich in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin). You can just as experience to be more likely to get more pimples in precisely the area whereas the cheeks will be categorized as normal or dry. It is important to avoid drying out your skin, but instead focus on exfoliating and moistening the skin to achieve balance.

Oily / impure skin

An oily skin may be characterized by either the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) or the entire face is oily, and there are also more prone to pimples, blackheads and porepropper. Do you have oily skin, so it's a good idea to avoid face cream which contains additional oil, but add cream with high moisture level to soothe the skin and to keep the skin in balance.

We recommend that you double-cleaner with IVY AIA Cleansing Mousse twice, or with IVY AIA Cleansing Mousse first time and then with IVY AIA Micellar Water. Give skin a moisture boost with IVY AIA Face Mist and exit the routine by applying IVY AIA Oil-free Moisturizer and IVY AIA Eye Cream.

 

mature skin

A mature skin is not a skin type, but a condition skin comes in, the older we get. Mature skin is characterized by that it gets more wrinkles, pigmentation changes and there is loss of elasticity of the skin. A mature skin can be all of the above skin types, but most importantly for the mature skin is that it needs moisture and nutrition to be kept in balance. It is recommended to use products that will regenerate and adds moisture.

We recommend that you clean your skin with IVY AIA Cleansing Mousse or IVY AIA Cleansing Oil depending on skin type. Then give the skin a moisture boost with IVY AIA Face Mist and exit the routine by using IVY AIA Anti Age Face Cream and IVY AIA Eye Cream.
